Celebrate Nanowrimo with gumbo!

I finished my novel for National Novel Writing Month the Monday after Thanksgiving and celebrated with a bowl of turkey and sausage gumbo. Never throw away left-over smoked turkey — it’s great for gumbo.

Here’s the scenario of my novel, which was inspired by my blog —

When the girls at The Blue Camellia Collectibles Shop enter the Bay Breeze Gumbo Cook-off, three of their blue-haired customers nearly die after tasting their gumbo. Are Marney and Amy to blame?  What was that unusual flavor in their gumbo? Was it good enough to kill?
